Business Manager , Finance

Penton is seeking a Business Manager to join the Finance team in the Loveland office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare, consolidate and review monthly detailed revenue and expenses categories by analyzing variances to budget, forecast, and prior year.
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries.
- Reconcile monthly bank statements.
- Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly providing adequate backup for reconciliations and auditing purposes.
- Assist with the yearly Budgeting and quarterly Forecasting efforts as required.
- Assist in yearly audit by preparing audit schedules and reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
- Ad-Hoc Analysis, Report building, Automation and other Projects as assigned.
Position Qualifications:
- B.S. Degree in Accounting, Finance or Related Field
- CPA and/or masters degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 3-5 years Finance experience, including 2+ Years of General Ledger Accounting Experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, FASB Pronouncements, Financial Reporting Software including Oracle and Hyperion
- Advanced/intermediate excel and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills are required as this position will interface directly with the senior management as well as corporate representatives
