Penton is seeking a Technical Producer to join the New Media team in the New York office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Creation and modification of HTML templates used to produce web sites and email newsletters
Responding to support requests relating to the production of all web products
Configuring internal and external production tools to respond to clients’ needs
Defining and implementing enhancements to internal production tools.

Position Qualifications:

Ability to manage tight deadlines, quick turnarounds and multitasking between various projects.
Must be fluent in modern HTML and css practices and have some experience with JavaScript
Desirable skills also include experience working with Photoshop and Flash
Creative problem solving skills
Manage own project workflow and assure the highest level of quality and compatibility of web products.
Two to three years working with HTML (hand coding), css, JavaScript and image design applications
Experience and knowledge of Internet development, systems, protocols
Theming experience in Drupal 6
Demonstrated experience with automated content management systems and HTML templates
Solid understanding of browser compatibility issues
Practical experience in customer service is a plus
